Having a glass of wine and necking a couple of Zynox pills can be very different from mixing a few vodka shots with Flagyl
I joined this to WARN anyone who has taken this medication
Other side effects of metronidazole may include allergic reactions: such as itching, hives (urticaria), flushing of the skin, red skin rash that can be widespread, blisters and separation of skin layers, nasal congestion, dryness of the mouth and vagina, and fever
However, I will be going out tomorrow night with some friends who most likely will be doing a bit of drinking
I would make sure there is no alcohol in your IIRC, Metronidazole will foam very aggressively when it comes in contact with alcohol, causing you to (most likely) vomit
Tablets, oral liquid medicine, suppositories, and injection
6 ounces of pure alcohol (at 12% alcohol content)

I know I can't have alcohol on it at all - but is it alright if I have a glass of wine the night before I start

Do not drink alcohol while you are taking metroNIDAZOLE topical and for at least 3 days after you stop taking it
